The most important feature of any seat is comfort, and the Sportsman II provides maximum comfort in it's price range. 1" memory foam in the seat cushion has always been standard on all of our Sportsman seats, but the type of foam used is only a part of what makes a seat comfortable. Careful attention to the shape of the seat is at least as important as the type of foam used.
Our seat foam components are cut using CNC equipment. This allows smooth flowing shapes that more closely match the shape of the human body. That shape helps us achieve a more optimal pressure distribution.
The design of the backrest also plays an important role in comfort and reduced fatigue. A special cavity in the backrest cushion allows the lumbar support pad inside to be adjusted up and down. It can now also be removed and exchanged for a different sized pad to adjust for different lumbar shapes.

Seat Wedges
Wedges are placed under the main seat cushion to adjust seating height. They are available separately in 1", 2" and 3" thicknesses. We have found that the best way to determine the right thickness is to sit on the main seat cushion without any wedges under it, and measure from the top of the head to the canopy. With this measurement, we can determine the correct wedge to use.
